Here at Coleg Cambria, we are looking for an Instructor / Demonstrator to support the running and delivery of Photography on a range of academic and vocational courses. This is a fixed term contract from 21st January 2019 until 21st June 2019, working part time for 2 days per week.

The Instructor / Demonstrator in Photography will deliver formal practical instruction and demonstration direct to student groups. You will prepare a schedule of practical activities, from information received from course co-ordinators and appropriate lecturers, and assist in monitoring the overall progress of each student; assessing competence and progress in practical activities, attendance, punctuality, discipline, and initiating action as required.

So, if you possess a Degree in Photography (traditional or digital) and have recent and relevant industry experience, then we would be delighted to hear from you.

With excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you will demonstrate an understanding of current developments within the Photography industry and have the ability to assess learners within a practical situation. You’ll need to be self-confident and responsive to the needs of others and display energy and enthusiasm in the learning environment. A PGCE would be advantageous, however this is not essential.

The ability to speak fluent Welsh is desirable.

A DBS Disclosure will be requested from the successful applicant being offered the position and you will also be required to register with the Education Workforce Council.
