Our Bersham Road Campus are now looking for a Lecturer in Brickwork to join them on a permanent, part time basis for 14.8 hours per week.

Within the role, you will perform scheduled teaching, prepare learning materials, mark students’ work, liaise with awarding bodies and conduct exam invigilation as required. You will provide educational guidance, support and counselling for all students and complete and produce the agreed deadlines documentation such as; registers, schemes of work, records of work, course review, course analysis documentation, student reports and absence reports.

So if you are qualified to at least Level 4 in a relevant specialist subject area and hold a teaching qualification such as Cert Ed, PGCE and City & Guilds 7407, then we want to hear from you.

We’re looking for a creative, innovative and imaginative individual who can display energy and enthusiasm in the learning environment. You’ll have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be open and responsive to the needs of others and recognise and make students aware of their strengths and development needs. Demonstrating an understanding of current developments within your own specialist area, you will be able to identify, interpret and apply specific knowledge to practice and assess the outcomes of learning and learner achievements.

The ability to speak fluent Welsh is desirable.
