Permanent, Part Time (5 days per week, term time only)
Here at Yale Nursery, we are now looking for a Deputy Nursery Manager to assist with the management, via a small supervisory team, of the staffing operation. You must ensure the physical, mental and emotional welfare of the children in its care and cover for the Nursery Manager in their absence.
The Deputy Nursery Manager will plan, ensure provision of and consistently improve the creative, social and educational development of the children appropriate to their age and needs whilst planning activities and timetables in line with development goals. You will consult with the Nursery Manager to devise new and improved systems of work and ensure internal and external standards and all requisite records are maintained at all times.
So, if you hold an NNEB qualification (or equivalent) and have previous supervisory experience, then we want to hear from you! An effective communicator with an outgoing approach, you will have tenacity and resilience to cope with the demands of a busy operation and see things through to completion. You will be quality driven, recognising the value of standards and be able to manage own and others time effectively. We also ask that you are numerate to PTB NP1 Sten 5 and have verbal skill to PTB VP1 Sten 5.
The ability to speak fluent Welsh is desirable.
